The Pre-Start Check

Every machine in this valley gets a walk-around before it runs. Give your door the same five minutes: tick what you can see and hear, and the sheet issues a tag with a likely cause and a safety steer. It can't see your door, so it never pretends to a diagnosis, and it will never show you a price. It just tells you, straight, what the symptoms usually mean and how urgent they usually are.

Look STEP 1 · DOOR CLOSED, FROM INSIDE IF IT'S SAFE TO BE THERE
Listen STEP 2 · RUN THE DOOR ONCE, STANDING CLEAR
Lift STEP 3 · THE BALANCE TEST
Before this step Door fully closed. Pull the red cord to disconnect the opener. If you ticked the BANG box above, skip this step entirely; the sheet already knows what it needs to.
Exposure STEP 4 · THE SINGLETON ROW

The fine print, stated plainly: this sheet reads symptoms and patterns. It suggests a likely cause and how urgent that usually is, and nothing more. The actual answer comes from eyes on the door, which is what the call-out is for.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

Tell us what the door is doing

A snapped spring before a 4:30am start, a grinding opener over someone on night shift, or a new door you've been putting off. Send it through and we'll call you back to sort the next step.
