Terms & disclaimer

This page exists so nothing on this site can be mistaken for more than it is.

Guidance, not a quote

Everything on this website, including the Pre-Start Check tool and the guides, is general information. The Pre-Start Check suggests a likely cause and a safety steer from the symptoms you tick; it is not a diagnosis, and it cannot be, because nobody has looked at your door. Actual findings, recommendations and prices come from an on-site visit, in writing.

Written for here

The content on this site is written for Singleton NSW and the Upper Hunter: the town core, Singleton Heights, and the rural edge out to Broke and Bulga. The dust, heat and west-sun advice describes conditions here. Somewhere else, a door lives a different life, and this site's guidance may not fit it.

No prices on this site

We don't publish prices here. Fault work is quoted on site before work starts; new doors are measured and quoted in writing. If a number isn't in a written quote addressed to you, it isn't our number.

Safety

Garage door springs and cables are under high tension and genuinely dangerous to work on. The guides on this site tell you what things mean, not how to fix them yourself, and that's deliberate. If a door has a snapped spring, is off its track, or won't lift: stop using it and get a technician to look at it. Any opener mains wiring is licensed electrical work in NSW and is done by a licensed electrician.

Images

The imagery on this site is illustrative and generated, made to show what the region and the work look like in general. It doesn't depict specific completed jobs, specific customers or specific addresses, and no photo here is presented as proof of a job done.

Brands

Door and opener brand names, where they appear, are their owners' trademarks, used to describe categories of equipment. We don't claim to be an authorised dealer, installer or agent of any brand.

Availability

Booking offers on this site are exactly that: offers to book. We don't promise response times, same-day service or availability windows on a web page; real scheduling gets agreed with you directly, person to person.

Your rights

Nothing here limits the consumer guarantees you have under Australian Consumer Law.
